The 70 slips in this marina are geared toward visiting, seasonal, and guest boaters. The marina store offers marine supplies and other merchandise.

The 160 slips in this marina offer easy access to town, with docks located on both the east and west side of the Route 1 Bridge.

The 225 slips in this marina accommodate boats up to 60′ in addition to summer and winter storage for 125 boats. A private ramp allows boats to be kept on land and launched anytime via ramp for our Summer Club guests.

Kids boating program

At Newburyport Marinas, we love boating, and enthusiastically do our part to nurture the next generation of boaters. We feel that boating is not only a healthy pastime that builds an appreciation of nature, but that also builds stronger, closer families. We encourage families with children to get on the water and enjoy the great activity of boating.

  • Kids loaner life jacket program — FREE of charge life jacket loaner program for kids 12 and under. Program sponsored by Boat US.
  • Complimentary kids gift — Stop by the marina office to pick up your gift!
  • Kids boating event/sponsorship
  • Free kids meal (12 and under) at Michael’s Harborside with the purchase of an adult meal for all Newburyport Marinas’ guests.
  • Newburyport Marinas scholarship program at Newburyport High School
  • Newburyport Marinas slip donation to Boys & Girls Club of Lower Merrimack Valley
  • Safe Boating Course — Kids from 12 to 15 are required to take a safe boating course as well as 16 & 17 year olds looking to operate a PWC. Newburyport Marinas will look at opportunities to provide this course free of charge to children of Newburyport Marinas slip guests.
